This ticket is for Monday June 15 at at Reid’s Distillery, 32 Logan Ave, Toronto.
Join us for a guided, hands-on introduction to 2D Needle Felting on fabric, also known as wool painting.
In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of wool painting by creating a symmetrical design, using wool to build graphic shapes, colour, and texture directly onto fabric. All materials are provided.
Inspiration images and stencils will be provided, and you’ll receive hands-on support from your instructor throughout the session. no drawing experience required & no paint mess.
What You’ll Learn

How to build flat graphics with wool
Using symmetry and repeat patterns to create strong designs
Layering colour and texture safely and effectively
What to Expect
Your instructor will begin the workshop with a short introduction and demonstration at 6:30 PM. You’ll start with a brief hands-on activity to get familiar with the tools and learn the fundamentals of needle felting on fabric.
Once you’re comfortable, you’ll begin creating your own 2D wool painting, building a symmetrical design using colour, texture, and repeat patterns. Stencils, visual inspiration, and individual guidance will be provided to support your process and help bring your piece together in a way that feels approachable and creative.
The full workshop spans 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to work at your own pace, mingle with others, grab a drink or snack, and refine your wool painting and you’ll go home with an adorable felted creation you can hang on your wall, frame or gift.
This event is ages 12 and up.
